In Loving Memory of Monte Pipkin

Monte Pipkin, age 58, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Seattle, Washington. Born on July 3, 1967, in French Camp, California, Monte lived a vibrant life filled with faith, family, and unforgettable flair.

 

Known for his joyful spirit and unmistakable style, Monte left a lasting impression wherever he went. Whether leading heartfelt prayers or dancing with infectious energy—often channeling the moves of Michael Jackson—he brought people together through laughter and love. His deep devotion to church and family was the cornerstone of his life.

 

Monte is lovingly remembered by his mother, Dorothea Pipkin; siblings Kim Pipkin, Kevin Pipkin Sr., Mario Pipkin (Valerie Pipkin), Habeebulah Pipkin, and Bobbi Jean Pipkin; nieces and nephews Kevin Pipkin Jr., Marcellis Pipkin, Taurean Pipkin, Perry Pipkin, Tyrah Moss, and Mariceo Pipkin (Alexis Pipkin); along with numerous grand nieces and nephews who carry forward his light.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Jimi Pipkin; sister Iris Longmire; brother Jamil Pipkin; and niece Tahlonya Pipkin. Their memories remain forever intertwined with Monte’s own enduring legacy.

 

A man of authenticity and soul, Monte embraced every moment with sincerity. His presence brought warmth to every room and joy to every gathering.

 

A Funeral Service celebrating Monte’s life will be held on January 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Church by the Side of the Road, 3455 S 148th St. Tukwila, WA 98168.

 

May Monte’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
