Pastor Melba O. Thomas was born on March 2, 1929, in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Issac Ford, Sr. and Emma Carroll and died peacefully on January 10, 2023 in Seattle, Washington.
Pastor Thomas migrated to Seattle at the age of 16 and attended Garfield High School.
She’s survived by 11 children and a tribe of grands, great grands, great great grands, nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, daughter and two grandsons.
Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023. Viewing at 10:00 prior to 11:00 service at Holy Ground Community Church 3425 Martin Luther King Jr. Way So. A repass will be held at the Royal Esquire club, 5016 Rainier Ave So. after the service.
MASKS are MANDATORY.
