In Loving Memory of Peggy Nell White

Peggy Nell White,76, of Puyallup, WA passed away on July 13, 2022, in Seattle, WA after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She went peacefully to be with the Lord with her family by her side.

A memorial service will be held August 12, 2022; 11am at Lily of the Valley COGIC. A repass will follow at Lakeview Community Center from 2-6pm. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation.

Peggy was born in Monroe Louisiana to the late Milton Hightower and Pearl Logan on February 21,1946. She enjoyed spending time with her parents. Her most memorable moments was helping her father in the cotton field.

Peggy is preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Emma Mae Washington and Willie Mae Brewster and her parents.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Joanne Hightower: her grandsons DeCorrius Javon Sampson and Marlin Jones Jr: her six nieces; four nephews and loving extended family; The Sampson’s, The Daniels/Banks; The Bell/Richardson Family and countless friends and loved ones.

The family of Peggy wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Polyclinic and Swedish Medical Center for their incredible care they provided to Peggy and her entire family. The family also appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended to us during this difficult time.
