In Loving Memory of Phillip J. Gaines

Phillip Gaines originally from Flint Michigan settled in Seattle Washington and lived here approximately 55 years. After serving in the US Army, he worked at Time DC until an injury ended his career. Because of the disability Phillip spent many years working in local convenience stores from the south end of Seattle to the Central District. It is at these stores that he met many people who later became lifelong friends. He is survived by his family: Frances Gaines, daughters Tiffany and Kimberly (Gaines) Brown and Grandchildren Donovan Dillworth and Leon Dowe III. If you knew “Gaines” you knew his love for conversation. Come celebrate his life.
