In Loving Memory of Raymond Rainey

Raymond Rainey, beloved son, brother, and gifted musician, passed away at the age of 50 in California.  Raymond was the youngest of six children born to retired Master Sergeant Clyde Rainey and Edna Lula Rainey. He was blessed with the extraordinary gift of perfect pitch and could play anything he heard. Music was his passion and his language.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Edna, and is survived by his siblings: Clyde, Claretta, Edgar, Carl, and his twin Benjamin, along with a host of extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his music, joy and kindness.

Celebration of life services will be held 1pm, August 23, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church 1211 South I Street Tacoma, WA 98405. Services by Scott Funeral Home.
