With heavy hearts, the Sylve, Bourgeois and Anthony families announce the passing of our beloved retired Seattle Police Department (SPD) lieutenant Ronald S. Sylve. Ron peacefully transitioned on Jan. 29, 2026, and was reunited with his parents, Edward Sr. and Attribute (Anthony) Sylve; his siblings Edward Jr., Don Joseph and Deloris Sylve; his son Ronnie Sylve; and his godson, Roger Henderson.
A man of strength, intellect and character, Ron leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Robbie (Turner) Sylve; his children, Deirdre and Sean Sylve; his stepson, William Clough; and his 10 beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Gregory, Dana Sr. and Kenneth Sylve. Ron will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. The family sincerely thanks you for your continued prayers, love and support during this time.
