In Loving Memory of Reverend Dr. Paul Warren, Sr., Pastor Emeritus


Rev. Dr. Paul Warren, Sr. was born July 24, 1944 in Uniontown Alabama to Mr. Isaac Warren and Mrs. Minnie Washington. Dr. Warren, 78, of Tacoma Washington passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Dr. Warren is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mother Barbara Warren; two sons, Paul Warren Jr., his wife Brenda, Kenneth James Warren and his Companion Kiko Adams of Tacoma WA., three granddaughters, Alisha Napier of Vancouver WA., Taliciana Warren of Federal Way WA. and Rickie Ford of Tennessee and two great grandchildren Averiana Castano and Nova Boyd. Dr. Warren accepted his calling to Preach the Gospel in 1977 under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Dan W. States. After 20 Active years of dedicated military service throughout the United States and abroad, Pastor Warren took on the challenge of full-time ministry in Establishing Mt. Zion Community baptist Church where he served faithfully for forty years. Dr. Warren had an extensive background of community relations within the Tacoma area. He established and served as the Presiding President of the Pacific Northwest Christian Convention with 15 covenant churches. He served as President of the Tacoma Ministerial Alliance in Tacoma Washington from 2003 until 2007. He also established and served as the President of the Tacoma-Pierce County Christianity Alliance in 2010. Dr. Warren’s viewing will be on September 22, 2022 from 3:00pm until 6:30pm at Living Word Christian Church, 6425 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma WA. 98409 also Dr. Paul Warren Sr. will be Celebrated on Friday September 23, 2022 at 11:00am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1211 South “I” Street, Tacoma WA. 98405.
