In Loving Memory of Richard Earl Harding Jr.

Sunrise:July 24, 1947 - Sunset: October 8, 2025 Richard Earl Harding Jr. was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Earl Harding Sr. on July 24, 1947. He attended Seattle Public Schools and developed a strong love for playing the drums, cooking, sports, and spending time with family. Richard was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to share his insights and wisdom. He held various jobs throughout his life, including positions at Nord Doors, Boeing, U and I Sugar, Federal Way Goodwill, on a fishing boat in Unalaska, and at Pike Place Market. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Jannie Mae Harding; his children, Flynn, Terri, and LaKeisha Harding; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He

also leaves behind his siblings Lathaniel (Grace), Dwaine (Janice), Frenesi, Anthony, and Marie (Boris, sister/cousin), along with his late brothers Robert and Ronald and his late sisters Betty Jean and Katherine. He is also remembered by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Richard accepted the Lord into his heart in 1996. May God rest his soul. The Harding family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at Harborview Hospital and the staff at the Queen Anne Health Care Facility. We also appreciate everyone for their kind words and prayers during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, at Greater Mt. Baker Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2425 South Jackson St., Seattle, WA 98144. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. A repast will be held at Station Coffee Shop on Beacon Hill, located at 1600 S Roberto Maestas Festival St, Seattle, WA, 98144
