ROBERT H. NELSON JR was born May 12, 1955 to the union of Robert H. Nelson Sr and Addie Taylor- Nelson of Seattle Washington. His parents, sister Jean Snipes,& Brother Brian Zaets preceded him in death.
Robert was an entrepreneur & owned many businesses including a jazz club, where he indulged in his passion for jazz and met many famous jazz musicians.
Robert was so cool & personable he earned his nickname of "OG Nelson".
He had a lust for adventure which included living in many places such as Edmonton, Las Vegas, Atlanta, & Alaska.
Robert truly loved his name sake son Robert "Scootie Nelson III and spent many days attending his football games and personal outings.
Robert loved his family deeply and was surrounded with friends & family when he passed.
His spirit lives on through his sister Mattie Henry, Robert Nelson III ( son), Koko Phair ( sister), Kelly Lee ( ex wife), Jada Wilson ( grand daughter) Tony Slack & Jimmie Bruce ( Best Friends) & many nieces & nephews , and a host of family and friends.
