In loving Memory of Ruth Lynette "Rudy" Jones

Ruth was born August 25, 1957, in Los Angeles, CA, and peacefully passed away on October 16, 2026. A dedicated advocate, Ruth earned her degree in Social and Human Services, excelled in retail, and co-founded "Lil Dis, Little That," handcrafting African artifacts with her late sister, Mitzi. Ruth loved traveling, cooking soul food, and spending time with family and friends. In 1993, she met her devoted husband, Robert "Smitty" Smith, whom she married in 2016. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Dominique; four grandchildren; and extended family. Ruth’s legacy of warmth, creativity, and strength will forever be cherished.
