Shirley Mae Wilson Mayo

Shirley Mae Wilson Mayo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, at the age of 86. Born on March 15, 1939, to Charlie and Lela Wilson, Shirley was known for her spirited personality, creative flair, and giving heart.

Shirley was a true enthusiast of life with passions that included sewing, decorating, fashion, music, and dancing. She also enjoyed gardening, searching for unique treasures while thrifting, and the excitement of a casino trip. She worked professionally as a decorator and housekeeper at the Hilton downtown Seattle for seven years.

Above all, Shirley’s defining trait was her deep love and dedication to her family, creating countless cherished memories.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Sarah Wilson-Smith, Frances Davis-Miller, and Thelma Addison; her sons, Bruce Williams Sr. and Michael Williams; her grandchildren Michael Davis- Williams Jr, Antron Lewis and Deborah Greenwood . 

She is survived by her loving sister, Charlene Wilson Ferguson; her children, Stephen Williams, Rabel Williams, and Angela Williams. She also leaves behind a devoted family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Friday, November 21, 2025 at Serenity’s Personal Alternative Chapel 749 Central Ave. N Kent, WA 98032 and continue from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00 Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Church By The Side of The Road 3455 S 148th St.
