In Loving Memory of Stephanie Denise Parker

Stephanie Denise Parker was born on July 25, 1965, in Seattle, Washington, to Wendell and Alice Parker.  She passed away June 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with clear cell adenocarcinoma (cancer).

 

Stephanie graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1983 and the University of Washington in 1987 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.  After graduation, Stephanie worked for the Bank of America and Goodwill Industries for many years. 

 

Stephanie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in her youth.  She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Seattle, and was baptized by Rev. Dr. Samuel McKinney in 1974.  Stephanie joined New Beginnings Christian Fellowship (NBCF) in 2005 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Leslie Braxton, participating in the Music & Worship Arts Ministry, Adult Bible Study and Intercessory Prayer.

         

Stephanie is survived by her sisters, Sharon Hunter and Charlese Jackson; brother-in-law, Ron Hunter; step-brother, Wendell Parker, Jr.; uncle, Jimmie (Mattie) Butler; nephews, Nile Hunter, Alexander Johnson, Kedric Jackson II, Marcel (Danesha) Jackson, Kedric Jackson III, Jordan Jackson, Marcel Jackson II and Harlem Jackson; nieces, Ronnisha (Brandon) Smith, Harmony Jackson, Anai Jackson, Le’Ayjah Jackson and Aleia Jackson; and a host of relatives and friends.   

 

Interment will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00am, at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Avenue N., Seattle.  Memorial service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, 11:00am, at NBCF, 19300 108th Avenue SE, Kent.  Please visit www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries for the full obituary and to leave a message for the family, or mail cards and condolences to 1119 27th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122.
