In Loving Memory of Tanisha Rashyka Brooks

Tanisha Rashyka Brooks was born February 16, 1974, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Gabriel Brooks, Jr. and Debra Brooks. She passed away December 12, 2022.

Tanisha graduated from Franklin High School and worked for Seattle Public Schools from 1992 until her passing. She sang in Total Experience Choir for 43+ years, taking the message of Christ’s love to 36 of 50 States, and internationally.

She is survived by her son, DeShe’ Brooks Wright; mother, Debra Brooks; father, Gabriel (Tracy) Brooks, Jr.; brother, Carlos (Meseret) Brooks; sister, Gena Brooks; nephews, Martell (Cynelle) and Joshua Brooks, Mark Ecckles; nieces, Bitaniya and Gianna Brooks; and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, 11:00am, New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, 19300 108th Avenue SE, Kent. Donations may be made through Zelle via 206.841.7772. Flowers may be sent to Personal Alternative Funeral and Cremation, 749 Central Avenue N., Kent, 98032.
