Warric Lamar Roberts

Warric was born to the union of Woodrow and Dorothy Roberts in Seattle, Washington. He attended high school at Rainier Beach and Garfield where he became a basketball phenomenon. He had earned the nickname “Hopps” because of his ability to jump so high, run hard and fast, and was strong as an ox. Warric was tough on the outside, but he would give you the shirt off his back and always made sure you were smiling. Warric was humble, a quiet leader with high character.

Warric was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Roberts. He leaves to mourn and cherish his life his mother Dorothy Roberts; wife Taysia Roberts; daughters Richayla and Taliyah; son Tayvion; brother Deryl Roberts (Lynn) and one grandson, Zy'Tae and a host of family and friends to always remember him.

Warric was laid to rest on September 8, 2021 in the care Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation
