Wesley Sidney Hall, aged 62, passed away on November 30, 2024, in Kent, Washington, following a tragic accident. Born on October 10, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, Wesley was the beloved son of Joyce Winiferd Hall and the late Sidney Hall.
Wesley was a devoted father to his ten-year-old son, Sidney Hall, and a close friend to Marquita Julia Mycom, Sidney's mother and her children. He was a cherished brother to his sisters, Darlene, Darene, Shireese, Nadine, and Martine, and was predeceased by his brother, Lewis Lee Hall. Wesley also leaves behind a loving extended family, including nephews Winston, Lewis, Lance, Tyrone, Mason, and nieces Darselle, Shalena, and Mia.
Educated at Figueroa Street Elementary School and Cleveland High School in Reseda, Wesley was an accomplished sprinter and a valued member of his high school track team. Known for his candid nature and sharp wit, Wesley was a deep thinker who found humor in everyday challenges. His passion for history, particularly Black American history, was a testament to his inquisitive mind.
Fourteen years ago, Wesley relocated to Seattle, where he dedicated four years to volunteering at the Rainer Food Bank. His commitment to service was matched by his strong work ethic at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Kent, where he thrived on the challenges of the prime-time holiday schedule.
Wesley was a man of routine, beginning each day with push-ups and maintaining an active lifestyle throughout his life. His final messages to his sister reflected his enduring love and readiness for life's challenges: "Happy Thanksgiving little sister, love you long time... The hardest thing in life is to get ready in Wesley's book. I stay ready cuz I won't have to get ready, can you dig it little sister."
Wesley Sidney Hall will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
