In Loving Memory of Yolanda Walker

With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Yolanda Walker, who passed away on February 14,2025. Born to Warren and Christine Walker in Compton, California, Yolanda was the seventh of eleven children. She grew up in Seattle, attending public schools and holding various job positions throughout her life.

A natural competitor, Yolanda found joy in playing cards and dominoes, always showcasing her skill and love for the game. Beyond her competitive spirit, she cherished the simple pleasures—spending time with her sons and grandchildren, shopping for herself and her loved ones, and indulging in self-care at her favorite department stores and nail salons.

Above all, Yolanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to family. One of the most loving/caring/giving people you could ever meet.She would give u the clothes off her back.

Yolanda is survived by her three beloved sons: Marvin Sr(Omeka), Michael (Tiarra), and Jimmie (Gayle); and her cherished grandchildren: Marvin Jr., D’Atray,Tremaine,Leila, Jaiyah, Tripp, Micah and Peyton. She is also survived by her siblings: Lucy, Robert (Brenda), Ernestine, Donnie, Shirley (Tony), and Ernest, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will continue to honor her memory.

She now rests in peace, reunited with her parents, Warren Sr. and Christine, her sister Estelle, her brother Warren Jr., and her beloved son, Jamaal Cloy, and grandson Malik Williams

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. at New Beginnings, 19300 108th Ave SE.

Yolanda’s love, laughter, and unwavering strength will forever remain in our hearts
