CLYDE NATHANIEL BELL

APRIL 18, 1958 – APRIL 8, 2024

Clyde Nathaniel Bell affectionally known as “Clever Clyde” or “Papa Clyde” was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on April 18, 1958, to Leora Bell. The Bell Family relocated to Seattle in 1961. Clyde received his formal education at Garfield High School.

Clyde hobbies included playing dominos, baseball, football before his health started to fail. He loved his family; he would call and check in. He was a very friendly, outgoing, and caring person. He never met a stranger. He loved to converse whether on the telephone or in person.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Mary Bell; mother, Leora “Mudder” Bell. He had one son, Marche Nathanial DeBurle.

Clyde is survived by his three grandchildren: Nicole, Jazmine and Marche, Jr., brother George (Linda) all of Seattle and sister Mary Ann (Ronnie) of San Diego, CA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, April 26, 2024, from 3pm to 6:30pm at The Royal Esquire Club, 5016 Rainier Avenue South, Seattle, Washington 98118.
