In Loving Memory of Shari Lynn Douglass

Shari Lynn Douglass was born September 1,in Chicago Illinois to Ora and William, and passed on February 18,2022. She was one of eight children. She attended Tacoma Public Schools and later graduated from Highland College with an Associates of Arts and Evergreen State College, Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts. Shari met and married Alonza and had two beautiful daughters. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband and two brothers. Shari was an Umoja Black Scholar at Highline College and poet laurete for the city of Shoreline Washington. She wrote many poems, short stories, and is a published author. She was a social activist. She leaves to mourn her death her mother, daughters, grandson, brothers, sister, aunt, a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
