A Beautiful Legacy Willie Mae Duggins, age 88, was born in Valewood, Mississippi on July 16, 1935, to the union of Lucille Webster and Willie McShore. Over the years she was blessed to be raised by two loving step fathers, Joe Simmons and lastly Frank Brown Sr. She passed away on the evening of September 9, 2023 surrounded by her 8 children and loved ones, after battling a long illness. She relocated to Seattle, Washington in August of 1959, to join her step father Frank Brown Sr., with her loving husband Abraham Duggins and 7 children. Soon after arriving in Seattle, two more children were born to their union. She was a homemaker for many years however, she briefly worked outside the home with her step father Frank Brown Sr., in his business. In addition, working for Baptist Rest Home and The Salvation Army, as their head cook.
She had a genuine love and passion for rearing her children, and grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She was a guardian angel to many that knew her. She helped others in need, with open arms and a loving heart. She is preceded in death by her husband Abraham Duggins, her son Angelo Duggins, her parents, and 3 brother's Bob Simmons, Laysell Brown and Frank Brown Jr. She is survived by her 3 sons; Larry Duggins, Willie Duggins (Eloise), Verdell Duggins. Her five daughters; Linda Udeji, Maxsine Duggins (Andre), Debbie Duggins McCane (Roger) Dianne Sanders (Rhoden) and Demeatoris Duggins. Also survived by twenty seven grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren, and sixteen great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; Her loving sister in law Katherine Simmons, and longtime best friend Essimena (Mena) Wiley.

We are forever grateful.
Momma, you are loved and missed each and every day. Even though you are long gone away from us, we still feel your presence and spirit with us daily. We pray that you are at peace with Daddy, Angelo, your mother and father as well as your brothers and everyone that has gone before you.
