You are invited to celebrate the legacy of Powell S. Barnett on April 27! Join us for a day filled with memory and music at Leschi Elementary School.

Beginning at 12pm we will rededicate the portrait of Powell S. Barnett that hangs in the entryway of our school, and will remember Mr. Barnett's remarkable life and his contributions in the Central District and Seattle. We will hear from guest speakers Larry Gossett, Karen Jones, and Rev. Dr. Phyllis Ratcliff-Beaumonte.Beginning at 1pm, Butch Harrison and Good Company will play their annual community jazz concert, sponsored by the Garfield Golden Grads student support committee! RSVP here and please help us spread the word!
