LOCAL CHAPLAIN PASSES AWAY Gregory Bolden, Sr


Gregory Bolden, Sr. was born November 2, 1956 and passed away October 5, 2024 in Houston, TX.

He was the Assistant Chaplain at King County Juvenile Center and Chaplain at Echo Glen Children’s Center for 15 years, and Green Hill Juvenile Facility (for 1 year).

A “Celebration of Life” service for Chaplain Greg will take place on Saturday, November 30th 11am at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2801 S. Jackson, Seattle, WA 98144 where the Senior Pastor is Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr.

Chaplain Greg is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carrie Joanne; Fraternal Triplet Daughters, Qiana (Damien) Smith, Manvel, TX; Tiana (Michael) Odiaka, Seattle, WA; Diana Bolden, Kent, WA; One Son, Gregory Bolden, Jr., Kent, WA; Grandson, Dominic Xavier Smith, Manvel, TX; Grand Daughter, Bles Chinwe Odiaka, Seattle, WA; God Children, Kayausha Anglin, Shoreline, WA; Henry (Ella) Everette, III, Kent, WA; One Sister, Janice (Anthony) Mitchell, Baldwin, LA; Identical Twin Brothers, Lenneth Richard, Kenneth Richard, Kent, WA; One Aunt, Verna Barron, Fulsher, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends nationwide.
