Sunrise: July 17, 1943 -Sunset May 6, 2020 McKinley Blake Jr. "Sonny", 76 passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 in Manhattan, Kansas. ​ He was born on July 17, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia. He grew up in Phoenix City, Alabama and later moved to Seattle, Washington. He will be remembered as a great Father, good friend and full of life. He is proceeded in death by his parents Lucille and McKinley Blake Sr.; Sister: Barbara Webb. Sonny leaves behind to cherish his memories Sisters: Shirely Brown and Delois Blake-Puckett. His children; Daughters: Hollie Raynor, Crystal Jakes-Banks, Shurvon Haynes, Miesha Blake, Julie Ford Herbinson, Desiree Cormier. Sons: Josephus Owens, Michael Blake, Derrick Mitchell, Frunzino Blake, Adrell Mitchell, along with a hosts of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in laws, relatives and friends he loved dearly. ​ A private memorial with family and friends will be held at a later time in Seattle, Washington.
