John 6:70 Romans 14:9 Jesus John 6:70 answered them, did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil”. The word devil is that part of the body that is flesh Galations 5:17,19-21. This is the part that desires to please the natural man, that includes the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time pass, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Eph. 4:27;6:11, James 4:1, John 13:2 LK.8:12 and Jude 9, Revelation 2:10. We are not to walk in the flesh, nor give place to the devil, but we are to resist the devil, by putting on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
devil spelled in reverse is lived. Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
The devil cannot have eternal life because he did not walk in the spirit and never repented of his fleshly sins. The devil is the thief in John 10:10. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. Jesus came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly.
Isa. 14:12-15 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
1 John3:8. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Matthew 25:41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan and bound him for a thousand years; And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
