Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs came into Lumen Field undefeated. The Seahawks sent them home with their first loss, handling business 20–3 Sunday night and giving the 12s something to get loud about.
And let me tell you, the energy was on fire.
Seattle needed this one after dropping two straight. The Hawks answered with defense, moving to 4–3 while Kansas City fell to 5–1. (seahawks.com, seahawks.com)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba was putting on a show, grabbing nine catches for 150 yards and a touchdown. Sam Darnold found him for a 28-yard score before halftime, helping Seattle take a 10–0 lead into the locker room.

Darnold finished with 257 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. There were still points left out there, but Seattle kept control. (seahawks.com)
Defensively, the Hawks weren’t giving much away. Mahomes finished with 165 passing yards, and former Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III managed just 36 rushing yards. Ty Okada added an interception, and Kansas City never reached the red zone.
Emanuel Wilson handled his part too, rushing for 100 yards and sealing the night with a 21-yard touchdown run.
That’s how you finish. (seahawks.com, seahawks.com)

Next up, the Chicago Bears come to Lumen Field Monday, November 2, for Monday Night Football. Kickoff is 5:15 p.m. Pacific on ESPN. (seahawks.com)
Seattle showed up Sunday under those bright lights. Now let’s carry that same fight into the next one.
