Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action (PSARA) invites the community to our Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 14, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the theme “With Hope We Unite, Resist, And Overcome.”

The event will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 124 21st Avenue, Seattle

The Rev. Dr. Robert L. Jeffrey, Sr., pastor of New Hope, will give the keynote address.

Featured speakers include Larry Gossett, former King County Council member and member of the PSARA Executive Board; Claude Burfect, member of the MLK Labor Executive Board, former Vice President of NAACP, and member of the PSARA Executive Board; Shaunie Wheeler, Deputy Executive Secretary of MLK Labor.

Music will be provided by members of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Choir and special musical guests Jayza Duhon and Laila West, Key to Change

There will also be a book display curated by Rhonda Gossett.
