Seattle — Seattle’s Pride Month festivities kick off at Seattle Pride in the Park with music,
dancing, community booths, and more from noon–7 p.m. at Seattle’s Volunteer Park on
Saturday, June 7.
This annual free, family-friendly LGBTQIA2S+ celebration, with the theme Louder, is emceed by
Betty Wetter and Aleksa Manila and will feature a can’t-miss lineup of queer and trans
performances.
Headlining this year’s Seattle Pride in the Park mainstage is TeZATalks, with additional musical
performances featuring Star Anna, Lemon Boy, among others.
“Pride celebrations, to me, are sacred acts of resistance and remembrance. They’re a time to
honor the ones who fought before us, the ones who didn’t make it, and the ones still trying to
find their way home to themselves. Pride is more than a parade — it’s a declaration that we
exist, we create, we thrive, even in a world that often tries to erase us,” said TeZATalks. “It’s
vital because visibility saves lives, joy is revolutionary, and community is the medicine. I show
up to Pride not just to be seen, but to make space for others to be loud, loved, and free.”
The mainstage lineup goes on with Cheer Seattle, Rainbow City Marching Band, Rowan
Ruthless, Moscato Sky, King Leo Mane, Miss Texas 1988 and more. Families and kids can join
in on the fun at Drag Queen Storytime with Emmy Nominee, a family space with Camp Ten
Trees, a fairy-wing decorating station hosted by Delta Dental of Washington, and a teen space
hosted by the Seattle Pride and Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center youth interns.
For those 21 years of age and older there will be an alcohol garden featuring beer from
Reuben’s Brews, and official Seattle Pride cocktails crafted with Astraea Gin and Fast Penny
Spirits, as well as a sober area for those who prefer to celebrate without alcohol, plus food
trucks, community booths, a queer vendor marketplace, and more.
GenPride will host an area designed with LGBTQIA2S+ seniors in mind to celebrate this special
event. In addition, accessibility accommodations, such as priority seating, ASL interpreters, low-
sensory zones, ADA restrooms, and designated assistants to support individuals in accessing
food and beverages will be available. Seattle Pride’s event accessibility guide is available at
“Seattle Pride in the Park is a vibrant celebration of embracing joy, diversity, and progress for
the LGBTQIA2S+ community,” said Patti Hearn, executive director of Seattle Pride. This year,
this act of joy is also an act of strength, unity, and defiance. We are calling on Seattle to join us
on June 7 to be louder in their love and unity than ever before."
Seattle Pride’s events are made possible with generous support from presenting sponsor
Alaska Airlines, as well as many other community partners and individual donations.
This year’s media sponsors include Seattle Pride’s official TV partner KIRO 7, SGN, The Seattle
Times, The Stranger, and radio stations 107.7 The End, c89.5, KNKX, MOViN 92.5, and WARM
106.9.
