Aug. 6 - Oct. 3 | A Legacy Illuminated: Black Theater in the Pacific Northwest, King Street Station. Revisit historic Black theater in Seattle created by a generation of actors whose work shaped the local theater scene in the 1970s. Supported by DON.
Aug. 28 | Summer Outdoor Movie Series, Portal Park, Belltown. Base Camp Studios hosts the 3rd Annual Outdoor Summer Cinema series with climate related film screenings every Wednesday throughout the month of August. Supported by DON
Aug. 29 | Barton P-Patch Pizza and Bagel Fundraiser, Barton P-Patch. Join community gardeners for handcrafted bagels, woodfired pizza, and live music. Bagels served from 11 AM – 1:30 PM; pizza at 2 PM; and live music around 4 PM.
Aug 29 | Chinatown International District Food Walk. Calling all foodies! Try new foods and support local neighborhood businesses. Stop by the CID Business Improvement District information booth at Hing Hay Park to pick up a printed menu.
Aug. 30 | Heron's Nest: Serving the Forest, 4700 14th Ave SW. Restore the ancestral land of the Duwamish Tribe. Efforts include plant removal, native plant care, and fall planting preparation.
Aug. 30 | Summer Thunder: Taiko at Kubota Garden. Enjoy an energetic afternoon of live Japanese cultural performances at Kubota Garden. Bring your family, friends and a picnic.
Sept. 3 | First Thursday Art Walk, Pioneer Square. Explore numerous art venues including galleries, museums, restaurants, bars and shops.
Sept. 3 & 4 | Daybreak Star Land & Community Tending, Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center. Welcome the autumn harvest season and help support Indigenous food sovereignty by tending to traditional plants like camas and huckleberry.
Sept. 4 | Central District Art Walk. A free, family-friendly neighborhood gathering in Seattle’s Central District the first Friday of every month. Each event features visual art, workshops, poetry, live music, and activities and highlights local artists and small businesses. Supported by DON.
Sept. 7 | Pancake Brunch, Beacon Food Forest. Enjoy a tasty brunch with live music, jam, fruit, pancakes, and free Food Forest Tours. Support healing the land, food justice, and community building!
Sept. 13 | Beyers' Bulldog Garden Party & Brunch, 4807 54th Avenue SW. Join members of Seattle's newest P-Patch to celebrate a successful garden season from 11 AM-1 PM. Food provided.
