Temperatures Peak Today with Cooler Weather Friday and the Weekend

KEY POINTS Very warm temperatures today, bringing widespread Moderate (Level 2/Orange) HeatRisk to the region. Very isolated areas of High (Level 3/Red) HeatRisk, mainly around Puget Sound and Cascade Foothills. Although temperatures cool late this week and through much of the weekend, the long range outlooks continue to favor above normal temperatures persisting through at least early September.
