2025 Summer Schedule for Bicycle Weekends on Lake Washington Boulevard 


Seattle, WA-On scheduled weekends from May to September, a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard will be closed to motorized vehicles from 10 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.   

“Seattle Parks and Recreation invites everyone to get outside and soak up some summer sunshine—bike, jog, or stroll along the boulevard between Seward Park and Mount Baker Park’s beach during these times for some healthy, feel-good fun!” said AP Diaz, Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation. “Let’s keep Seattle shining by staying active and thoughtful—drivers, please watch out for pedestrians and follow all signage during the closures!” 

Local access: People driving to homes along the boulevard because they live there, are visiting, or making deliveries are allowed from the nearest cross street.   

Parking lots are open and will be accessible from the nearest cross street (see parking details and map below).

       Saturday, May 17- Sunday, May 18 

Saturday, May 31- Sunday, June 1  

Saturday, June 14 – Sunday, June 15 

Saturday, June 28 – Sunday, June 29  

Saturday, July 12- Sunday, July 13  

Saturday, July 26 – Sunday, July 27 

Saturday, August 9 – Sunday, August 10 

Saturday, August 23 – Sunday, August 24  

Saturday, September 6 – Sunday, September 7  

Saturday, September 20 – Sunday, September 21
