There are people whose lives cannot be measured simply by how long they were here. My son Ryan was one. On what would have been his 45^th birthday, I want us to remember how he lived. His motivation in life led directly to his wife, Beverly, and his children, Trevon, Rico, and Ryan Milani. Even more, he was the father on the sidelines, and coach opening gym in the morning, the man who opened his home and brought people into his world, the mentor, the trusted friend, and the son whose father was so proud of who had become and that he ended our phone calls, with words that now grow daily in value, “I love you”.

My son’s story was never a story of perfection. It was a story of family, faith, growth, perseverance redemption, investment, and love. NFA was his motto, love your people, handle your business, keep moving, show up, get back up, and don’t waste the time you are given. A legacy worth remembering. Raise a glass, to my Son, Big Blass!
