Washington Blues Sciety Hall Of Fame Band Jeff and the Jet City Flyers have been entertaining Pacific Northwest Audiences for more than 25 years. Their New Orleans style of rhythm and blues lifts peoples’ spirits and gets them out on the dance floor! Their album, “High Living Blues” has been a consistent seller since its release. They were something of a house band at Seattle’s New Orleans Cafe during its long residency in Pioneer Square, and they continue to perfrom regularly at “Seattle’s Blues Headquarters,” The Salmon Bay Eagles Club in downtown Ballard. The Flyers are delighted to share their music at Madrona Presbyterian, and they always bring a fun-filled show with them, wherever they go! Join us!

For over two years, the Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church has been sponsoring a Jazz and Blues Concert Series featuring local legends: Lonnie Williams, Mark Dalton and Darryl Barber, all seasoned professionals in the music industry, who deliver exceptional performances whenever they play. The series has been a spectacular success, partnering with various artists while also promoting social awareness of differing issues as add-ons to the concerts. These concerts are free to the general public—although donations are accepted at the door.
On April 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM, Madrona Grace will present a special evening with the Blues. It will feature, Washington Blues Society’s Hall of Fame band, “Jeff and The Jet City Flyers.” These concerts over the past year have become recognized as unique musical experiences; known for their innovative approach to presentation and arrangement of their musical events. These thematic concerts feature food (at reasonable prices), a pre-concert social presentation, and a presentation of the stories behind the music. Doors open at 6:15 for dinner, followed by the concert beginning promptly at 7:00 PM. You don’t want to miss this impactful, entertaining, and groundbreaking event.
