Althea Gayle Glass transitioned to her heavenly home on January 14, 2026.

Althea was born January 2, 1961, to Josephine and Meshack Calhoun. She attended Seattle Public High Schools and was a graduate of Rainier Beach High School. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Washington in Women's Studies.

Althea was preceded in death by her father, Meshack Calhoun, and Grandparents Earnastine and Ethard Smith. Althea leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Josephine Calhoun, sister Audrey Legette, her five daughters, Ashley Nicole Patrice Suggs, A'Aliyah, and Auria Shields, Aliela and Ariyah Glass, Grandchildren, Xavier Edge, Kennedy Suggs, and Amarion Miles, long-time companion Terry Jones, her niece Venetra Legette, and great niece Malory Legette. In addition to a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly. Althea will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
