George Washington Ward was born in Dothan, Alabama August 15, 1935. He left us way too soon on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He is survived by his children, Shamseddin Williams and George Fine Ward, his step children, Jaques Raphel, Guy Raphel, Yvette Raphel, Starla Miller and Jackie Leight, his grandchildren Darius and Breana Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many other close friends and loved ones. Please join in the remembrance and celebration of George Washington Ward. Services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Mount Zion Baptist Church 1634 19th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122, at 11am with the Repass immediately following the service.
