In Loving Memory of Gloria M Redus

May 24, 1933- September 19, 2026

Gloria M Redus was born May 24, 1933, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Luther William Redus and Annie Hunt Redus. After living in Chicago, Illinois Gloria moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1966, where she made her home

Gloria worked for Boeing and Seattle Public Schools before beginning her career at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center where she served as a Mental Health Specialist. She retired in 2008 after more than 25 years of dedicated service.

Gloria departed this life on September 19, 2026, surrounded by love, family, prayer and faith. She

was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

Gloria leaves to mourn and cherish her memory Michael Crosby, Judy Griffin, Michael Doran, Michaela Milo, and LaKeith Redus, all of Seattle, Washington; Leahe Doran of Tampa, Florida; LaTonya Redus, Gina Pierce, Carla Redus, Kimberly Redus-Wright, and Darhlene Redus, all of California; Billy Dawn. Bonita Lee, Jennifer Rose, and LaViva Redus of Chicago, Illinois; and DeMario Redus, DeAngelo Redus, and Luther Redus of Minnesota. She also leaves her beloved great-nieces, great-nephews,

extended family, and cherished friends to celebrate her life and carry her memory forward.

A celebration of Gloria s life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at

Grace United Methodist Church. 722 30th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144.
