Gregory Leon Ezell passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, with his family by his side. His family called him “Leon”. Gregory Leon was born on May 11, 1949, in Mobile, AL. He attended Lakes High School in Tacoma and Garfield High School in Seattle. Gregory graduated from Garfield in 1968 and married Brenda L. Byrd the following year. He served ten years in the US Army. His dedication to federal service continued for 30 years. Together with Brenda, they raised three children: Sonja, Greg Jr., and Troy. Along with his children, he leaves behind a son-in-law, Gerald Bradford; daughters-in-law Jessica and Jasmine; grandchildren Brooke, Sierra, Harper, Braxton and Miles; brothers Curtis Ezell, Jr., Bobby and Sean McDonald; sisters Lue Violet Ezell and Patricia Ann Hopkins and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
