Isaac Carter, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, transitioned peacefully in Des Moines, WA, on April 25, 2026.

Isaac was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the parents of Isaac K. Carter and Marguerite Carter. In 1957, at the age of seven, the family relocated to Spokane, Washington, where Isaac was raised and spent the majority of his life.

In 2007, Isaac moved to the Seattle area, where he retired and remained until his passing. He is survived by his son, Isaac Carter Jr., sister Jean Bishop, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones. Celebration of life for Isaac Carter Sr. will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 @11:30 AM at Three Tree Church, 16261 First St. Ave. S, Burien, WA 98148.
