In Loving Memory of Jameila Rose Walker

Jameila Rose Walker, age 39, was born to Lavondalyn Turner and James Walker Jr. (Jacarae Fairbanks-Walker). She departed this life on April 18, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew and loved her.
Jameila leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Jennessy Wamsley; siblings Luther Walker, Elan Fairbanks-Walker, and Brigitte Fairbanks-Walker; grandmother Verlena Taplin-Sutton; step-grandfather Larry Sutton; uncles Parshaun Taplin (Natasha) and Ivan Porter (Allina); and aunts Janella Turner (Nate Wells), Felicia Turner, Leathia Kruzuski, Oneida Kirksey, Teresa Morris, and Cecelia Kirksey.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Freida Walker, paternal grandfather Robert Turner, great-uncle Kenneth Williams (“Hippie J”), and Aunt Carmen Walker.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Grace & Truth Ministries, 9425 S. 248th Street, Kent, WA 98030. Repass will follow the service.
In honor of Jameila, family and friends are encouraged to wear her favorite color, blue.
My beautiful granddaughter. She will always be our Pooh! Sleep peacefully in Jehovah’s memory until this earth has been cleansed of ALL EVIL. In time you will hear Jesus’ voice calling out your name like he did Lazarus. Jesus will call, Jameila Rose, it’s time to wake up. John 5:28, 29. I love you my beautiful Jameila Rose, my Granddaughter. I’m so happy we parted the Friday before the accident that took your life saying to each other, “I love you.”
