Laurence James Venson

Laurence was born in Seattle Washington to Willie and Maxine Venson on August 8, 1963, joining his sister Tina and brother Randall. He was known by James to his friends and family.
He attended Garfield High School.
He always had a poem for the family at any event – it was an expectation we all looked forward to. He also liked to draw.
James is survived by his parents, Maxine and Willie; his sisters Tina, Tiffany, Denise and Erin; and his brother Randall. He is also survived by his nieces Malikah, Vernessa, Cora and Tauriaun; his nephews Micah-Rasean, Kendall, Jaylen, and Rayvaughn; grand nieces Keyah-Serata and Zahra-Fatimah; grand nephews Dupree’, Charles, Corey Jr., Cortez and Komani; and a host of other family and friends.
A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held May 30, 2025, 1:00 pm at Emerald City Community SDA Church 801 25th Ave, Seattle WA 98122
