In Loving Memory of Mary Posey

Mary J. Posey

August 3, 1945 – September 18, 2026

Mary J. Posey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted her life to Christ and her family. She was married to her beloved husband, Samuel Posey, for 51 years and spent most of her life in Seattle, Washington.

A graduate of Garfield High School, Mary also worked for Seattle Public Schools for many years. She loved spending time with family and friends, doing arts and crafts, and worshiping at church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Samuel Posey; daughters, Arenesa Posey and Crystal Worthy; son, Andre Worthy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family sincerely thanks everyone who sent their prayers, love, and condolences.
