In Loving Memory of Mr. Lucius Boone Jr

Lucius “LBJ” Boone Jr. received his wings on August 5, 2026, after an extended illness. Born October 10, 1945, in Washington, D.C., he was raised in Crawfordville, Florida, and later made Seattle his home. Lucius worked for Washington Natural Gas and King County Metro. He loved music, DJing at the Elks Club, playing bid whist, attending family reunions, and hosting his beloved annual birthday catfish fry. He leaves to honor his memory his daughters, Antionette Easter and Andrea Brooks; stepdaughter, Venicia Gore; sister, Rosa Walker; grandchildren, Charles, Andrew, Alexandria (Quincey), Johnathan, Joshua, Alexander, and Masiah; great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends. Lucius was preceded in death by his mother, Neather Belle Ferrell-Boone; sister, Irma Nee Patzel; and wife, Dorothy. His joyful spirit and treasured memories will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. “LBJ Out" "In God We Trust.”
