Norma Suzette Smith, affectionately known as “Sue” entered the world with her beautiful light on October 25, 1950. She was born in Martinez CA, to Climmon Peterson and Norma Bush. She spent her formative years in Richmond California. The oldest of 15 siblings, she graduated from JFK High School in 1968. She welcomed her first child in 1965 and moved to Seattle WA in 1970. She dedicated her life to Christ and grew in her relationship with the Lord.
In Seattle, she met and married Robert Smith in 1982. They had three children. For Sue, creating opportunities for her family to “take it to the next level” was most important. She worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor for 15-years and was an inspiration to anyone that knew her. She enjoyed cooking, adventure and spending time with family. Suzette Smith went home to be with the Lord, June 30, 2025. She is survived by her loving children Melody, Josiah, Jayna and Jervon, three grandsons, two granddaughters and three great grandsons, and a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held on July 28, 2025, at Integrity Life Church in Federal Way @ 11:00AM to honor her memory.
