Ola Mae Hennings
On May 26, 2026, at the age of 93, our Lord called
home the earthly angel he blessed us with on
October 21, 1932. Her boundless love, kindness,
and understanding were second only to his.
Ola Mae Hennings, a native of Jeanerette,
Louisiana, was the fourth of seven children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd
and her sons, Daryll and Valdez. She leaves to
cherish her memory, her children, Floyd Jr., Vernell,
Denise, Yvon “Bunny”, and Lennie; her sister,
Barbara; and a large and ever-growing family whose
lives she touched across multiple generations.
Ola's legacy of faith, strength, and love of family will
continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held
on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First AME Church,
1822 14th Ave, Seattle 98122. The service will be
streamed for those unable to attend.
