It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our Beloved Brother David J Barnes Sr. David was born in Seattle WA to the parents of Gilbert Barnes Jr & Vergerine Barnes (both deceased). David grew up in the Central Area of Seattle, graduated from Garfield High School in 1977. He later moved to the South Beacon Hill area. David’s legacy continues to live on through his Son, David Barnes II (4 Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren) Daughter Cesara Charles, Grandson Jakari Darrell Washington; Sister Brenda (Ralph deceased) Carringtion; Sister Dr. Patricia Barnes (Lawrence) Sam; Brother Minister Steven (Judy) Barnes; Nephews Myran Barnes, Stephan Donaldson; Niece Komita (Dr Girvin) Liggans and host of family and life-long friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, September 26, 2026 @11:00am.
