Sefu Amari Jeffries, Born July 26, 2004, in Seattle, Washington, was a radiant light whose life reflected brilliance, creativity, and deep compassion. He attended Graham Hill Elementary and SouthShore PreK-8, and graduated with honors from Cleveland High School. Gifted with a Godgiven talent for music, Sefu began his journey playing trombone with JazzEd and continued to flourish through Macklemore Residency Program. There, he grew into a remarkable music producer and audio engineer, with an artistic eye that extended into videography and photography. Sefu's greatest gift was his heart. He connected deeply with others, offering kindness, authenticity, and joy wherever he went. A devoted sibling and community builder, he was awarded with scholarships from Empowering Youth and Families Outreach and the Martin Luther King Jr. Award. Our hearts are heavy as we honor our beloved Sefu, who passed on March 21, 2026. His light, love, and legacy will live on forever.
