In Loving Memory of Thomas Joseph Garrett

February 22nd, 1943 – April 22nd, 2024

Thomas Joseph Garrett affectionally known as “Tommy Jo” was born in Kansas City, KS in 1943 to Holbrook and Juanita Garrett. Tommy was the oldest of 5 boys and 2 girls and he is survived by his 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He received his formal education at Garfield Highschool and Eastern Washington University where he received a full ride football scholarship. Tommy was a man of many talents. He was deeply spiritual and a loving person as well as a well-known artist, musician, cameraman, handyman, and a devout Buddhist. He dedicated his life to praying for the well-being of his family and friends. Services will be held at SGI-USA Seattle Buddhist Center on May 18th at 1:00pm with a celebration of life to follow.
