William Jerome Fields Jr.

William Jerome Fields Jr., affectionately known as "Jerome," passed away on August 4, 2026. Born on September 22, 1947, Jerome was a proud graduate of the Walter E. Harris High School "Famous Class of 1965." Following his graduation, he honorably served in the military before relocating to Seattle in the early 1980s to be closer to his family.

Jerome was a deeply dedicated Mason with over 30 years of faithful service to his craft. He was honored to be elected Worshipful Master of Harmony Lodge #2 for 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved relatives Maggie L. Jones, Bernard Shaw, and Henry Cave Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his significant other, Jackie Russell; his daughters, Pamela Fields-Thomas (Michigan), Tuanna Sails (Chicago), and Tyra Campbell (Seattle); his sons, William Jerome Teague (Texas) and Devenare Bowens (Seattle); along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A service and repast will be held August 30, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Prince Hall Masonic Temple, 306 24th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. A Celebration of Life will follow from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beachcomber, 12623 Renton Ave S, Seattle, WA 98178.
