Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry to Headline Juneteenth at Jimi Hendrix Park

Seattle’s historic Central District will once again come alive this Juneteenth as thousands gather at Jimi Hendrix Park for one of the West Coast’s largest and longest-running Juneteenth celebrations.

The Juneteenth Freedom Festival is a full-day cultural celebration honoring Black legacy, resilience, creativity, and community through live music, arts, food, culture, and family-friendly experiences built for the culture.

This year’s festival will feature Grammy-nominated international soul songstress Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry alongside live performances from local artists, cultural activations, Black-owned businesses, food vendors, community organizations, and interactive experiences for all ages.

As Seattle welcomes FIFA World Cup visitors from around the globe, the festival will also serve as a powerful showcase of the city’s rich Black culture and the enduring legacy of the Central District community.
