MY FIRST MOTHER’S DAY WITHOUT YOUR VOICE

The day begins in softened light,
Yet something’s missing from it’s bright;
The morning air feels still, unsure,
As if it waits for you want once more.
No gentle call to start my day,
No smile to chase the clouds away;
Just echoes drifting through my mind,
Of all the love you left behind .
I see you where the roses grow, their petals flushed with Tender glow;
I hear you in the sparrows tune,
A song that warms the afternoon,
Though I can’t see
your face today, your love still guides me on my way;
And in my heart, you’ll always stay-my mom, my life. My endless. MAY….
Love FOREVER ❤️ Mary James
