Our new Black Panther Park is coming together! To everyone who has been showing up to our Black Panther Park in Skyway we just wanted to say thank you for bringing this community park to life. Your energy turned muddy puddles into victory badges and transformed blank soil into raised beds, apple trees, blueberries, and strawberries taking root. Your presence nourishes more than the garden, it nourishes the community! |

Black Panther Park will soon become a vibrant community gathering place and garden, providing Skyway residents with opportunities to learn about gardening, growing fresh foods, and connecting with one another. The park’s name honors the legacy of the Seattle Chapter of the Black Panther Party, with special recognition of its historic Free Breakfast Program that nourished and supported local families. |
