Purple Rain … Can We All Ball

D.Beaver - SPORTS / THE SEATTLE FACTS NEWSPAPER

Husky Stadium was jumpin’ Saturday night,

The Dawgs came out on business, no playin’ around, and smacked Illinois 42–25 in front of a wild hometown crowd.

From the first whistle it was purple pride everywhere, flags wavin’, fans barkin’, city energy heavy.

QB Demond Williams Jr. was out there lookin’ smooth, tossin’ four touchdowns like it was light work. Denzel Boston?

Dude was Lit’ all game, ten catches, 153 yards, straight up unstoppable.

Jonah Coleman ran it like he owned the field, punchin’ in two TDs and lettin’ everybody know who runs Montlake.

Defense showed up too, lockin’ down when it mattered, no turnovers, all grit.

Dawgs wanted that win bad, and they took it. Feels like that old Husky swagger is back, loud, proud, and ready for whoever’s next. Seattle stand up. Dawg Nation’s alive.
